Privacy Policy

MapToNap Site Analysis is built to need as little of your data as possible. There is no account, no sign-in and no tracking.

What stays on your device

• Your saved sites, projects, settings, display name and the avatar photo you choose.
• Downloaded map data, cached so projects reopen offline.
• Your Pro status.

All of it lives in this app’s own storage on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it.

What leaves your device

• Place searches and map areas. When you search a place or generate diagrams, the coordinates you chose are sent to public Overpass services or our Cloudflare-hosted MapToNap analysis gateway (place searches use our Mapking proxy), which forwards the query to Overpass and returns OpenStreetMap features.
• Map tiles. The basemap you see while selecting an area is served by OpenStreetMap.

Network providers also receive connection information such as your IP address. The analysis gateway caches map features by area for up to 24 hours. Connection information is used for short-term rate limiting. Operational logs may include selected coordinates, request identifiers and errors. These logs are not linked to your profile or subscription and are not used for advertising.

What we never collect

• No behavioral analytics, advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. Subscription reporting is provided by RevenueCat.
• No access to contacts, microphone or camera. If you choose an avatar, only the selected image is resized and stored locally; it is not uploaded.
• Location only if you tap the locate button, and only to centre the map — the selected coordinates are sent for map requests and saved locally with projects.

Purchases

MapToNap Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card, address or Apple ID. RevenueCat processes purchase history, subscription status, an anonymous app user identifier and technical connection information to verify, restore and manage Pro access and provide subscription reporting. Your map projects, profile name and avatar are not sent to RevenueCat. These subscription records are not used for advertising tracking.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Deleting the app removes local projects and settings, but does not cancel subscriptions or erase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. Contact us for requests about subscription data; some transaction records may need to be retained.
